WebJan 23, 2016 · 1. Jan 21, 2016. #1. Edit: Solved by swapping SATA cables. I own 3 WD Black harddrives: WDC WD4003FZEX-00Z4SA0. One of these tops the read speed at 180MB/s while the write speed tops at 15MB/s and I can't figure out why. The other drives are much faster. I've tried googling but couldn't come up with much.
