WebMay 21, 2024 · If your C4 case is the same as mine, here's the fittings that should work with stock cooler lines that have a 1/2-20 in. inverted flare fitting. I used PTFE tape on the fittings since at least that part was tapered. http://www.pigseye.com/sadie/trans/c4.htm

My drive to and from work is 5 miles with lots of stops. shifting is perfect to and from work and the fluid still looks like it did when I poured it in. WebNov 13, 2010 · I have never seen any issue with flare on a C4 equiped with a TransGo reprogramming kit - not once in 40 years. TransGo uses a fixed restrictor in the valve body that keeps the flare from happening. It may have been missed when the kit was installed. IT may also be that your direct clutches have more play than is optimal.
